Welcome

The spirituality of Vedanta is interfaith and intercultural. It aims to awaken the universal love in people's hearts, to realize our True Self (which is not the person or the body), but in which we are One with each other in consciousness.

Vedanta, a universal spiritual tradition from the Vedas that is meant for the whole world and for all religions. Vedanta is fresh and living, still producing spiritual giants today, and tracing its roots to more 7,000 years ago. Vedanta means Higher Knowledge in sanksrit. In practice - it is selfless love for people, the highest practical knowledge that exists in the world. Our founder Sri Bhagavan says that the problem in the world today is not cancer or aids, it is lack of love. Everyone is our own Self, and we can realize our Self in others.

At a deeper level, Vedanta helps people awaken to the ultimate Truth behind this world appearance - what is called our True Self, Brahman, Atman or God. The Self-realized person becomes permanently liberated from all sufferings, becoming established in Bliss, Existence and Consciousness Absolute, which is actually our true nature below the layers of ego.

In classes, we speak about this True Self and the four spiritual paths that are practiced to gradually awaken there, namely: the path of devotion, the path of self-knowledge, the path of selfless works, and the path of meditation.
