Devotees celebrate the Hindu holiday of Janmashtami with Sri Sri Bhagavan in 2018 at the Mayer Bari ashram in Birati, Kolkata India. Janmashtami is the anniversary of Lord Krishna's birthday. The devotees in this video are worshiping their beloved guru Bhagavan as the living embodiment of Krishna, and thus fulfilling their devotional aspirations to God. Devotees perform traditional service of adoring their guru with flowers, offering food, burning incense, and carrying out aarti (fire ceremony). Being completely void of ego and ever united in the realization of Oneness, Sri Sri Bhagavan offers Himself to the devotees for their practice of devotion (bhakti).
