Yuriy lives in Brooklyn, New York and helps share the teachings of Sri Sri Bhagavan and Vedanta across NYC.

Career Background
Yuriy works as a psychotherapist in Manhattan, and is a licensed LMSW in practice. Yuriy graduated from the masters social work program at New York University, 2014 - 2017.

Prior to psychology, Yuriy worked for 9 years in finance with industry designations of CFA, MBA and CPA.

Spiritual Background
Yuriy was interested in faith and spirituality since the early years of his life in Lithuania. The real thirst for it was awakened in America encountering Buddhism, first the Theravada tradition, and then Vajrayana. And final place of clarity was found in Advaita Vedanta. Yuriy was irrevocable drawn to Vedanta having read the book: "I Am That" by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. So greatly moved by the words of a realized sage, Yuriy knew that he had to meet an enlightened person like him.

It did not take long after rousing this intention that Yuriy learned of Sri Sri Bhagavan in India and traveled there to meet Him. What followed thence has been uncanny transformation and growth in every part of Yuriy's life. Since then Yuriy has continued to visit India twice a year to learn form Bhagavan and the senior teachers there. And with Bhagavan's directive and blessings, Yuriy has begun to share the teachings of Vedanta here in New York City.
