Synopsis:
What do western psychology and the Vedanta spiritual tradition have in common? The former aims to heal psychopathology and the latter to realize one's True Self. Delving in we find that many of the practices overlap. The continued advances in modern psychology across schools of thought are beginning to correlate with the attainments of knowledge by Vedantic practitioners thousands of years ago. In this lecture, Yuriy will introduce the practice of Vedanta to the audience and discuss the common theories and practices with modern psychology.
